
The 2005 campaign is in the record books. On Friday, October 28th, volunteers gathered at Houndslake Country Club to report results and celebrate the conclusion of a successful campaign season. Claudia Adams, Campaign Chair introduced the campaign division representatives and reported on the campaign accomplishments. Before presenting division results, Ms. Adams commented, “the citizens of Aiken County are the most caring individuals – they have truly stepped up to the plate this year. The community accepted the challenge and made this year’s campaign a success.”

Claudia Adams of Aiken Housing Authority will provide the cornerstone for the United Way of Aiken County 2005 campaign, scheduled to begin early this fall. Assisting Ms. Adams will be Bill Inman of Aiken Electric Cooperative and Keith Wood of Westinghouse Savannah Company. “We are extremely proud to have these individuals represent the United Way for the 2005 campaign. Claudia has been actively involved in previous campaigns and understands the dynamics that will produce a successful campaign,” said Dr. Connie Pritchard of the Pritchard Group and Chairman of the United Way Board of Directors.
Mr. Inman has been actively involved with United Way for many years and has served on both the Board of Directors and served as Second Vice Chair of the 2004 Campaign. Mr. Wood has been involved with the campaign both at the Savannah River Site and served as Chair of the Corporate Gifts Division last year. “These individuals have what it takes to accomplish the job ahead of us and I look forward to working with them on another successful campaign,” commented Ms. Adams.
Campaign 2005 plans are underway and division leaders will be announced over the several weeks. Division leaders are selected upon their areas of expertise.
