The Aiken Civic Ballet was awarded a grant to expand its outreach program to include 2,400 Aiken County school children through visits and performances, dance instruction for Children’s Place clients, Dracula ballet performance at the theater for ACPS students and visits to local nursing homes.
ACTS was awarded a grantto help fund its Food Program which currently serves over 2,750 individuals, many of whom are women and children.

Christ Central Missions Aiken/Graniteville was awarded a grant to fund a summer program to provide a basic financial principles program for twenty women.
Cumbee Center was awarded a grant to purchase new bedding, towels, and washcloths for residents entering the shelter.
GEM was awarded a grant to provide program T-Shirts for 30 girls.
Golden Harvest Food Bank was awarded a grant to enroll additional seniors in its monthly Senior Food Box Program.
Great Oak Aiken Therapeutic Riding Center was awarded a grant to provide therapy for six Children’s Place mothers. It is a four-week program to improve their relationship with their children.
Hankinson Boxing Gym was awarded a grant for equipment.
JoAnn Tillman Ministries was awarded a grant for its youth basketball team.
Mental Health of America Nurture Home was awarded a grant to provide five women with trauma six therapy sessions to assist them with their recovery.
Public Education Partners was awarded 12 books for each 4K classroom in the Aiken County Public School System. The books will be provided through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library.
Project Graduation was awarded a grant to support its 2019 program for Area 1 graduating seniors.
